* Late 1950s to early 1960s cotton day dress

* Fabric design features pink. charcoal and black flowers on a white background

* The design features strips of cascading flowers and a deep border at the hem of garlands tied with ribbons

* Classic silhouette with a defined waist and full skirt

* Sleeveless bodice with a deep V-shaped neckline

* Slightly peaked shoulders, centre bodice seam with mirror-reversed pattern 

* Side nylon zipper

* Gently gathered wide skirt

* Unfinished seams and hand-sewn hem

* No label

Condition 

Very good vintage condition.

No notable flaws that I can see - the zipper may have been replaced at some point.

AlterationsObviously, as these are one-off pieces, the fit may not be quite what you need. To this end, we also offer an alteration service by professional seamstresses. Please shoot us an email outlining what you want and we will quickly respond with a quote and timeframe. Costs are kept to a minimum for this service.
